According to the defense ministry, thanks to the mediation of the UN and Turkey, it was possible to obtain written guarantees from Kyiv that the humanitarian corridor and the Ukrainian ports involved in the grain deal would not be used to conduct hostilities against Russia.

In connection with the receipt of guarantees, the Ministry of Defense announced that Russia was resuming participation in the grain deal.

On the morning of October 29, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, led by British specialists, attacked ships of the Black Sea Fleet and civilian ships in Sevastopol using drones.

Later, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that Moscow was suspending its participation in the grain deal in connection with the attack on ships of the Black Sea Fleet and civilian ships.
