It is the eighth year that the Eastern Swedish Chamber of Commerce lists the companies that are the best in terms of gender equality, that is, the percentage of women who sit on the company's company boards.
The list was previously based on the 350 largest companies in Östergötland, Gotland and Sörmland.
But this year the list covers the whole of Sweden and Gotland does best and ends up at the top.
- So funny that Gotland has reached a whopping 30 percent this year.
Gotland has always been at the top, but never with as much as this year.
Östergötland and Sörmland have barely changed since last year, one percent up and down respectively, says Eastern Swedish Chamber of Commerce project manager Jonna Hedlund in a statement.
