The 34th Visa pour l'image photojournalism festival takes place in Perpignan from August 27 to September 11, 2022. In total, 25 exhibitions devoted to reporting are presented to the public.

And for those who can't come, some will be available online on the event website.

    The world would have seen nothing of the martyrdom of the city of Mariupol at the beginning of the siege, if not for the work of Mstyslav Chernov and Evgeniy Maloletka.

    For more than a fortnight, they were the only international media present in the city, the only journalists able to transmit videos and photos to the outside world.

    They were there after the bombing of the maternity ward and during the countless airstrikes that ravaged the city.
