Since Thursday morning, the participants of the inclusive and sovereign national dialogue have been examining the rules of procedure before the establishment of the presidium.

At the opening of the work, some participants asked for a suspension of the session to negotiate the participation of the opposition in the transitional institutions, which is boycotting the meeting.

Meanwhile, a group of wise men spoke with the disgruntled, while the review of the house rules continued.

It is a group made up of elders, such as former President Goukouni Weddeye who has already served as a mediator with the rebels, the Archbishop of Ndjamena, Monsignor Edmond Djitangar, leaders of the Muslim and Protestant communities or even the retired general Gouara Lassou.

This group of wise men spoke a few days ago with the dissatisfied citizens' action collective, Wakit Tama, the June 1 appeal group, political parties including Les Transformateurs, Les Démocrates, Une nation pour tous .

Objective of the process: find a point of agreement with the government to enable their participation in the dialogue.

For the dissatisfied, it is necessary to suspend the work, to review the quotas and the quality of the delegates, to define the list of those who will or will not have the right to vote.

The question of the ineligibility of the leaders of the transition must also be recorded now, and not during the dialogue, they say.

The group of wise men who are continuing their consultations met the transitional Prime Minister on Thursday evening.

Meanwhile, the dialogue is beginning.
