The Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office has filed a complaint against the two Madrid businessmen who

sold sanitary material to the Madrid City Council for a value of 11 million euros in March 2020

and for which they would have charged six million euros, more than half of the amount of the contract .

The Public Ministry directs its complaint against

Luis Medina

, son of the Duke of Feria and Naty Abascal, and against his friend and also businessman

Alberto Luceño

for the crimes of fraud, falsehood and money laundering.

Anticorruption details in its letter that the person who initially contacted the Madrid City Council was Luis Medina, who took the opportunity to finalize the approach that was a friend of a relative of the mayor of Madrid,

José Luis Martínez Almeida.

From that first contact, the municipal Administration provided him with the name of the general coordinator of Budgets and Human Resources of the Government Area of ​​Finance and Personnel of the Madrid City Council so that they could agree on the details of the contract.

The investigations indicated that

the contracts were made with the Madrid Funeral and Cemetery Services Company

, of which this contact person was a counselor.

After the initial contact, the negotiations culminated with Luceño.
