Recently, the North Korean Academy of Defense Sciences conducted a test launch of a newly developed long-range cruise missile.
The launched long-range cruise missile flew a total of 7,580 seconds along a predetermined elliptical and figure eight-shaped flight path in North Korea's territory and territorial waters, accurately striking a target set at a limit of 1,500 kilometers, and the test shot was a complete success.
The development of this weapon system is of great strategic significance. It is another effective means that North Korea possesses to more firmly guarantee national security and suppress hostile forces’ anti-North Korean military activities.
