Pope Francis revealed about his recent colon operation that "a nurse saved his life" and that this is the second time it has happened.
The Pope says this in an interview with the Spanish radio Cope which will be broadcast next Wednesday.
In a short excerpt from the interview aired today, the Pope is heard joking about his health by answering - the question 'How are you?'
- who is "still alive" and says: "a nurse saved my life, a man with a lot of experience. It is the second time in my life that a nurse saves my life. The first was in the year '57" .
