China, 14 newly built high-rise apartment buildings were blown up at once.

It has been 7 years since the construction was stopped, so there is a safety problem and it does not meet market demand.

Apartments collapse with a roar.

It took only 45 seconds for the 14 high-rise apartments with 20 or more floors to completely collapse.

Construction of these apartments in Kunming City, Yunnan Province, China began in 2011.

However, construction was halted in 2014 as the development company fell into financial difficulties, and the company that took over development rights earlier this year decided to demolish rather than resume construction.

There was a reason for safety as it was neglected for 7 years, but the main reason is that the apartment size does not match the market demand.

Initially, all 15 apartment buildings were to be demolished at once, but one building was not blown up due to technical problems.

The development company decided to build a low-rise apartment with 12 floors or less on this site.

Residents say it's a waste of money.

[Kunming City Resident: It's a waste, it's a waste. It was built with a lot of money, but it was demolished. It's a waste.]

In October of last year, three completed apartments were demolished in Lingao County, Hainan Province.

The building was built first without permission from the authorities, and then the order was issued to demolish it.

China, which has emerged as a world economic powerhouse due to its rapid economic growth, is experiencing side effects such as building it first and seeing it all over the world.
