As the German Weather Service announced on Wednesday morning, however, it remains largely dry in most parts of the country.

On Thursday night it could be locally slippery at temperatures of up to minus four degrees in the mountains.
According to meteorologists, it will remain cloudy in many places on Thursday.
On Friday night, temperatures drop to minus six degrees in the mountains.
Occasionally it can snow.
