It could well be a new case of a mutilated horse.
This Saturday, an owner found his full 3-year-old mare (she was expecting a foal) dead in an isolated field in Sauvelade in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques.
She had a severed ear in particular, reports
Sud Ouest.
The Béarnais gendarmes were immediately notified.
According to the first observations, the death of the animal would go back to two or three days and would be "of human origin".
The owner denounced on Facebook "an act of barbarism" while calling for vigilance.
