With the tightening of containment measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus, all movement without justification will be prohibited for at least fifteen days. This announcement takes effect this Tuesday from noon. To get out of your home, you now need a certificate on your honor. The Minister of the Interior, Christophe Castaner, clarified the terms and conditions for authorizing the travel of French people.

Under certain conditions

Travel is authorized for the following reasons: to move from work to home when telework is not possible or authorized, to make purchases of basic necessities in local shops, to go see a health professional, move for child care, or come to the aid of a vulnerable person, respecting barrier gestures and finally do physical activity but alone and at a distance from others.

A certificate to complete

The derogatory certificate has been posted on the government website. (You can find it here). It must be printed and completed by citizens before going out. For those who do not have a printer, the sworn statement can be written on a free sheet. Journalists can use their press cards. All trips, even the smallest, must be justified.

Nearly 10,000 gendarmes and police will be deployed on the territory to carry out checks. In the event of non-compliance with the rules, the fine is currently 38 euros. It could increase to 135 euros in the coming days.
