China News Service, March 8. According to the Vietnam News Agency, Vietnam ’s Ministry of Health revealed on March 8 that a new confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia was found in Hanoi. The patient is a 61-year-old man who lives in Zhubaifang, Bating County, Hanoi.
According to reports, at 19:00 on March 6, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention of Hanoi conducted an epidemiological investigation on NHN of patients with new coronary pneumonia, and found a suspected case in which Vietnam Airlines flight VN0054 was seated in a row with the patient's NHN and samples were taken for testing. The result is positive.
The man is being treated in isolation at the Central Tropical Diseases Hospital.
As of now, there have been 21 confirmed cases of new crown pneumonia in Vietnam, of which 16 have been cured.
