China News Network, March 5th. According to the US Fox News Network, the afternoon of the 4th local time, California Governor Newson announced that California had entered a state of emergency. Just a few hours ago, the state confirmed its first death from neo-coronary pneumonia.

Newson told a news conference that there are currently 53 confirmed cases in California and health officials are observing 9,400 residents.

Several California cities, including Los Angeles, Pasadena, Long Beach, and San Francisco, have declared local states of emergency, and Orange and Marin counties have taken similar steps.

Health officials in Plessey County, California, said earlier on the 4th that the state's first deceased was an elderly man with a potential health problem. The patient had travelled to Mexico in February on the Supreme Princess cruise. The health department said others on the cruise ship may also have been exposed to the new crown pneumonia virus.

Currently, the number of deaths in the United States has risen to 11.
