In Yaroslavl and the Yaroslavl region there were mourning events dedicated to the anniversary of the air crash, as a result of which the hockey team Lokomotiv was killed. The leadership of the region, fans, relatives and close athletes laid flowers to their graves and memorial. The Yak-42 liner, carrying 45 people on board, crashed on September 7, 2011 with take-off from the Yaroslavl Region's Tunoshna airport. After the plane crash, only the flight engineer of the aircraft survived.
