A video showed by Sudanese activists on social networking sites sniped a Sudanese demonstrator who took part in Thursday's protests calling for the overthrow of President Omar al-Bashir's regime.

Activists said the demonstrator was a doctor named Babeker Abdul Hamid, who worked at Ahmad Qasim Hospital in Khartoum, and was killed in Berri district, east of the capital.

A clip from the video showed Babaker's ambulance attempt to no avail, as activists spoke of the fact that the doctor could have been mediated if the Sudanese security vehicles had not blocked the ambulances.

Activists also reported the death of a 14-year-old boy, Mohammed al-Obeid, who said he had been hit directly in the head.

The families of the two victims confirmed their deaths in today's protests, AFP reported.
