"Judging by the latest statements of the Prime Minister, Ukrainians need to prepare for another significant increase in the price of gas. Today in the Verkhovna Rada Groysman said that nothing is to blame, and an increase in the price of gas in Ukraine is a condition of the IMF. The president at the same time eloquently says nothing. Any increase in the price of gas will finally kill the country's budget and the budgets of families, "Tymoshenko said on her Facebook page.

According to her, if the value is increased, millions of Ukrainians simply will not be able to pay for gas.

She notes that the state budget will not withstand an additional burden: this year 71 billion hryvnias have been pledged for subsidies, and by the end of the year, even at current tariffs, another 7 billion will be needed.

According to Tymoshenko, a monopoly market is being created and gas prices are unreasonably rising to receive super profits.

She stresses that, despite IMF demands, the task of the authorities is to protect people.

Earlier, Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman told, when the issue of increasing gas prices for Ukrainians will finally be decided.

Also, the former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, Vladimir Oleinik, in an interview with the National Council of War reacted to the statements of the current member of the Ukrainian parliament Sergey Taruta about the "colossal gas reserves" in the country.
