The global phone portfolio design companies are already working on special designs for the next wave of folding phones.

Spigen is one of the first companies to design three portfolio models covering the Samsung Galaxy Fold.

All the cases share similar designs, with a front cover that protects the upper and lower edges of the external screen (4.6 inches), and the cutouts for the tri-camera system on the back.

The company provided three models with varying degrees of protection, ranging from a thick plastic folder to a transparent plastic cover, made of plastic and silicone materials.

While the shape of the outer holsters seems relatively familiar, the main addition is the "joint" of the device and varies by phone and manufacturer.

It seems that every company designing a folding phone has taken a different approach to the joint, the Huawei dead is open to the outside, Motorola is operating on the device is locked in, while Samsung has chosen a book-like form uses joints with multiple gears locked in.

We do not yet know how portfolio makers designed the mechanisms of the joint, but Spigen's models of natural sizes offer a first look at how they deal with them.

It is also not clear how the screen will be protected. It is likely that many of the current types of screen protectors will not work, and Samsung has not determined whether the portfolio will come with a pre-installed screen protector such as the Galaxy 10S.

ZAG, a mobile phone maker, says it has begun developing mobile phone cases, but the challenge lies in the fact that physical phones are not yet available, a challenge in developing a portfolio that is compatible with the movement and shape of the device.

Although Spagen has taken a different approach by starting to manufacture and test portfolios before launching phones on the market, it says it is still under development and testing, but is set to launch in mid-April, the time Samsung has announced to launch its folding phone for sale on the market.
