The next inter-Korean summit will be held in Pyongyang on September 18-20

"The parties agreed to hold a three-day summit in Pyongyang from September 18 to September 20, as well as organize high-level talks early next week to prepare for the summit," he said.

It is noted that the representatives of Pyongyang and Seoul also agreed to open an inter-Korean communications office in Kaesong before the summit.

Earlier it was reported that the South Korean authorities had decided to postpone the opening of a communication office between the DPRK and South Korea.

Political scientist Irina Lantsova told NOS that the situation around North Korea needs to be resolved through dialogue.
