“The fact that the local authorities will contribute to the seizure of the temples, it was clear almost a paste. Surprisingly, in some cases they refuse to do it, but rather they help. And that Poroshenko’s covenants are fulfilled, there is nothing strange. This infringes upon the rights of citizens, but very few people, except Russia, are interested. If the authorities of some regions try to defend the churches, the officials can simply be removed from their posts, in Ukraine they are not shy about such issues, ”the expert believes.
According to Silantyev, “it would be strange for the Ukrainian authorities to expect to observe even their own invented laws.”
