As noted, such statements confirm the "blind commitment of the United States" to Israel and support for its aggressive behavior.
Earlier, Trump said that Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights must be recognized.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, commenting on the words of Trump, thanked him noting that the US President "boldly recognizes the sovereignty of Israel" against the backdrop of Iran’s "desire" to use Syria as a platform for the destruction of Israel.
As stressed in the European Union, despite Trump’s statement, the EU still does not recognize the Golan Heights as part of Israel.
