As noted, the accident occurred at the 33rd km of the highway Tula - Novomoskovsk around 19:30, when two VAZ-2114 cars collided.
“In the first car there were four employees of the Ilyinskoe police station, they were driving for business reasons, and also another man who was not a police officer,” TASS reports.
Another car was driven by a 17-year-old driver, in the cabin was a 15-year-old passenger.
"As a result of the accident, the police officer of the criminal investigation department of the police department died, six more people were taken to medical institutions with various injuries," the agency added.
It is emphasized that a minor driver has no right to drive vehicles.
Earlier in the Tula region opened a criminal case after an accident with seven victims.
