This is reported by the press service of the Rovno diocese of the UOC.

“Contrary to the agreements reached with state officials and law enforcement officers, at around 13:00 on April 13, the raiders seized the St. John the Theologian church in the village of Kopytov, Koretsky district,” the message reads.

It is noted that during the conflict, supporters of the new church of Ukraine "beat the believers and cruelly mocked the priest." The report says that the priest needed medical assistance.

It also indicates that, according to eyewitnesses, representatives of law enforcement agencies provided "full support" to supporters of the CCP.

Earlier, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that he instructed assistants to study the cases of the seizure of churches in Ukraine.
