The rapper MHD was indicted Thursday by a magistrate for "intentional homicide" and placed in custody in the investigation into the death of a youth in July during a brawl in Paris. The 24-year-old Parisian artist, Mohamed Sylla, whose real name is "denies any involvement in this brawl, his presence in the place of the facts not being proven", said in a statement sent to AFP by his lawyer Elise Arfi, who specified that she would appeal her detention on remand.
