A source at Emirates Transport Ras Al Khaimah branch told Emirates Al-Youm that the organization stopped all its buses from work this morning following the disruption of school hours in all public schools in Ras Al Khaimah due to poor weather conditions and to protect the safety of students especially that schools near mountainous areas There is still a flood of valleys and a large pool of rainwater, and that some vital streets of the bus routes in most areas of the emirate are experiencing rain and a large pool of water.
He explained that the Foundation saw the suspension of buses today to work in coordination with the public schools to maintain the safety of students, where text messages were sent to parents to stop the study due to unstable weather conditions, pointing out that the institution gives the safety of students a high priority in coordination with the concerned authorities.
He added that the Foundation has contributed through the emergency and crisis team in Ras Al Khaimah to send three buses belonging to the Emirates Transport Corporation to Jabal Jis and Wadi Al-Bayh to transport those stranded from the rain in those areas and to connect them to safe areas, pointing out that the buses serve the members of the community in all crises cases And is ready to provide all support to the concerned parties.
