It is reported that the Prince Bay Tulip Flower Show, known as the "most beautiful spring", is one of the favorite flower activities of Hangzhou citizens and tourists. Every spring, when the tulip flower show is held, the number of reservations in Prince Bay Park is close to saturation every day.

In order to provide citizens and tourists with a better flower-viewing experience in the spring of the coming year, the Phoenix Mountain Management Office of the West Lake Scenic Area will update the types of some tulip flowers every year, and sow tulip bulbs in the selected area from the end of November to December of that year, and then carefully maintain them until they are in full bloom.

This year, the Phoenix Mountain Management Office of the West Lake Scenic Area has introduced a total of about 40,8000 tulip bulbs of various types, with a proposed planting area of about <>,<> square meters, and the main planting areas include Wangshanping, Xiaoyao Slope, Youran Pavilion, Rose Garden, Hand in Hand Statue Block, both sides of the main river bay, etc.

Among them, the overall design of Xiaoyao Slope is based on the theme of "towards the clouds", and is expressed through the large-scale planting of tulips: the large lines represent the flowing breeze and resemble the winding mountains, and the large "clouds" float in between, and the main body is matched by the classic tulip varieties "Jewel Light", "Golden Oxford" and "Haku", making people feel as if they are above the clouds.

In the Youran Pavilion area, on the basis of large-scale planting, the Phoenix Mountain Management Office of the West Lake Scenic Area also ingeniously arranged the shape of two Dutch windmills with tulips, one large and one small, with ingenuity. At the same time, it cleverly echoes with the windmill on the side of the mountain, forming a picture of "Dutch style".

As one of the highlights of the Tulip Flower Show, the rose garden still set up a special variety display area, and for the first time, a number of new domestic varieties were introduced to plant here.

"For example, the specially named 'bathtub' has a rare gray-purple color, which highlights the high elegance. Another example is the unique flower shape of 'Vic', which is like a curly leaf, slender and enchanting. Wang Kai, deputy head of the Prince Bay Center of the Phoenix Mountain Management Office of the West Lake Scenic Area, said that there are also parrot series, such as "pink parrot", "magic parrot", "pirate parrot", etc., which will surely feast the eyes of citizens and tourists in the spring of next year.
