Samuel Eto'o, head of the Cameroon Football Federation, would like to get his hands on a promising youngster in order to integrate him into the Indomitable Lions' selection. The young and very tall (1.96m) central defender Yann Aurel Bisseck is of great interest to the boss of Fecafoot. A real coup to try since the 23-year-old has already played in the youth categories of the German national team, notably in the youth team where he has eight caps and one goal.

According to Sky Sport Germany, Eto'o has held talks to try and convince the player and his entourage. For the moment, "nothing has been decided", and it therefore seems unlikely that everything will be decided in time to see the Inter Milan defender play in the AFCON which starts on January 13.

Bisseck is young, but already has a long career behind him. He has played in no less than five different countries (Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, Denmark, Italy). Now at a big club at Inter, he is scratching minutes with four appearances in Serie A, and above all two starts in the Champions League. He also provided an assist in the match against Benfica (3-3).

Definitely, the Cameroonian federation has had an eye on Germany lately. As a reminder, Fecafoot is in discussions to secure the services of PSG-trained midfielder Éric Junior Dina-Ebimbe. Now an important part of Frankfurt's midfield, with whom he scored twice at Bayern Munich at the beginning of December (5-1), it is not surprising that he is attracting attention.
