In January, a former employee of a child welfare facility in Saitama Prefecture was arrested for committing obscene acts such as touching the body of a girl in the facility. The arrested suspect is Ryo Fujiwara (25), an unemployed resident of Toyono-cho, Osaka, and according to the police, he is suspected of forcible indecency for touching the body of a preschool girl who was in the facility at the child welfare facility in Saitama Prefecture where he worked at the time in January.
In March, the police received a report from a volunteer group that they had found an account posting obscene images, and when they proceeded with the investigation, they found that there was a suspicion that a former employee was involved.
He admitted to the investigation and said, "I like young children, and if I post an obscene act on SNS, the reaction is great, and my desire for approval is satisfied."
