Last month, a 16-year-old male suspect was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping a minor for allegedly putting a 58-year-old high school girl in a car and taking her home in Osaka's Chuo Ward. He has denied the charges. The female student was found dead at the suspect's home the next day due to suspected acute drug poisoning, and the police are investigating the details of the situation.

The arrested suspect is Takanori Tachibana (58), whose address and occupation are unknown.

According to the police, on the 11th of last month, a 16-year-old female high school student living in the city was put in a car on the street in Chuo Ward, Osaka, and taken back to her apartment in Ibaraki City, where she was living at the time.

The next day, a person claiming to be Tachibana called 1 to report that an acquaintance was unconscious and not breathing, and when the fire department rushed to the scene, a female student was found dead in bed.

The suspect was missing, but he was arrested because he appeared at the Ibaraki Police Station on the evening of the 119th.

According to the police, a large amount of cough medicine components were detected in the body of the deceased female student, and it is suspected that she was acutely poisoned.

In addition, on the 7th of last month, a female student was caught on a security camera purchasing four boxes of medicine at a pharmacy in Osaka City, so the police are investigating the detailed circumstances.

The suspect denied the charges, saying, "It's not true."
