US rapper and record producer Sean Combs is facing another civil lawsuit for rape and abuse. An unnamed woman filed the lawsuit in a New York court on Wednesday (local time). In it, she accuses Combs and two other men, among other things, of having been raped in the rapper's New York studio. She had been put under the influence of alcohol and drugs. At the time in 2003, she was only 17 years old.

The 54-year-old Combs strongly denied the allegations in a statement. "Enough is enough," the rapper wrote in a statement obtained by the dpa news agency. In recent weeks, "disgusting allegations" have been made with the aim of obtaining money. These people tried to destroy his reputation. He wanted to make it "absolutely clear" that he had not done any of these "horrible things." I will fight for my name, my family, and for the truth," it continued.

Previously, three women had filed civil lawsuits alleging sexual assault against Combs, including his ex-girlfriend, singer Cassie. Combs quickly agreed to a settlement with Cassie in mid-November. During their years-long relationship, the plaintiff had accused the musician of sexual abuse, rape, intimidation and physical violence, among other things. Details of the terms of the settlement were not disclosed.

Combs ("Bad Boy for Life", "I'll Be Missing You"), who is also active as a record producer, actor and businessman, is one of the most successful representatives of the hip-hop industry. At the MTV Video Music Awards in September, Combs was honored as a pioneer and for his influential career with the Global Icon Award.
