The Mudanjiang Meteorological Disaster Emergency Command issued a notice stating that in accordance with the "Mudanjiang Meteorological Disaster Emergency Plan" (Muzheng Ban Zong [2020] No. 13) major meteorological disaster emergency response level standards, the Mudanjiang Meteorological Disaster Emergency Command decided to upgrade the major meteorological disaster (blizzard) Level III emergency response to Level II emergency response at 5 o'clock on the 19th, and the member units of the county (city), district people's governments and municipal meteorological disaster emergency headquarters in accordance with the "Mudanjiang Meteorological Disaster Emergency Plan" (Mudanjiang City Meteorological Disaster Emergency Plan) (Mudanjiang City Meteorological Disaster Emergency Response Plan [ 2020] No. 13) requires that relevant emergency response work be done.
Mudanjiang Highway Passenger Transport Service Center suspended all passenger lines at 5 o'clock on the 17th, and it is necessary to pay attention to relevant information or call the service hotline for consultation when resuming operation. The Mudanjiang Municipal Education Bureau issued a notice that on the 6th, all primary and secondary schools and kindergartens in Mudanjiang City were suspended, and each county (city) decided on its own according to the local weather and road conditions. The Mudanjiang City Traffic Police Department issued a notice that due to the potential safety hazards of road icing, from 5:17 on the 50th, Musui Expressway and Heda Expressway (Mulin Section, Mufu Section) in Mudanjiang District will be closed to vehicles.
The Shuangyashan Meteorological Disaster Emergency Command issued a notice saying that according to the forecast of the meteorological department, in the next 48 hours, there will be a heavy snowstorm in Shuangyashan City from west to east, and a heavy snowstorm may occur locally. In order to fully protect the safety of people's lives and property, after comprehensive analysis and judgment, the Shuangyashan Meteorological Disaster Emergency Command decided to start the major meteorological disaster (blizzard) level II emergency response from 5 o'clock on the 23th to 7 o'clock on the 23th, and implement the "five stops" measures (i.e., suspension of classes, suspension of work, suspension of production, suspension of operation, and suspension of business) throughout the city.
