In order to lead to appropriate evacuation in the event of an emergency when a missile arrives, the first evacuation drill using the "Emergency Temporary Evacuation Facility" designated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government was held in Nerima Ward on the 6th.

The training was held at three locations, including the area around Nerima Subway Station in Nerima Ward and the Heisei Azalea Park, and 3 residents participated.

At Nerima Station on the Toei Subway, when one report of a missile launch was reported by the J-Alert = National Instantaneous Warning System, the residents who participated evacuated using stairs from the ground to the vicinity of the ticket gate on the first basement floor while being guided by the police.

Then, they crouched down to protect themselves and checked how to deal with any eventuality.

In order to mitigate damage caused by missile strikes, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government has designated a total of 60,1 facilities, including Toei Subway Nerima Station, as "emergency temporary evacuation facilities," and this is the first time that evacuation drills have been conducted using such facilities.

A man in his 1s who participated said, "I participated in a missile evacuation drill for the first time, and I was able to understand how to act in the short time until the missile arrived."

Mutsumi Takahashi, chief of the Tokyo Metropolitan Disaster Prevention Department's Civil Protection Plan, said, "When the J-Alert sounds, I want people to flee to a sturdy building or basement as soon as possible.
