Anyang, November 11 (Reporter Han Zhangyun) On November 4, the 11th anniversary special exhibition of China's new comics opened in Anyang, Henan. The exhibition presents a panoramic view of the fruitful creative achievements of story comics in China since its birth 4 years ago, in order to pay tribute to the classics of Guoman.

The exhibition brings together Yan Kai, Yao Feila, Hu Rong, Nie Jun, Benjamin, Kexin and other 70 representatives of Chinese new comics in the embryonic and development period of Guoman. The works on display are divided into five sections: the period of the king of picture books, the period of the 5155 project, the development period of black and white comics, the period of color comic weekly, and the beginning of webtoons, including 160 domestic comic works that are well-known at home and abroad, such as "Snow Coconut", "Didiman", "Dream Man", "Douluo Continent" and "Dali Temple Diary".

Cartoonist Yan Kai attended the opening ceremony of the day to introduce that in 1993, China's first new story comic magazine "Picture Book King" was launched, and the story of new domestic comics began, and it has a history of 30 years this year. He said that in the past 30 years, countless cartoonists have persistently created many excellent works, which have influenced several generations of Chinese teenagers and promoted the development of China's comic industry.
According to Zhang Guoxiao, Secretary-General of the Executive Committee of the 19th World Comics Congress, the purpose of holding the exhibition is to pay tribute to the classics of Guoman, help pass on the torch of domestic comics, guide the new generation of cartoonists to adhere to the people-centered creative concept, and promote the high-quality development of the comics industry in the new era.
The 4th World Comics Convention will open in Anyang, Henan Province on the evening of the 30th, and the <>th anniversary of China's new comics exhibition is one of the key activities. During this year's World Comics Convention, important exhibitions such as the International Exhibition of Original Comics, the Exhibition of Japanese Anime and Comics Collection, and the Belgian Contemporary Comics Exhibition will also be presented to the public.
