On October 28, actor Matthew Perry died at his home in Los Angeles, USA. On Friday, according to media reports, he was buried in the city, in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills, where numerous greats of US show business are buried.

From 1994 to 2004, Perry was part of the ensemble of »Friends«, one of the most successful TV series ever. His then-co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer attended the funeral, according to media reports. The six actors were close friends in their private lives.

Perry was 54 years old.

The "Friends" crew had published a joint statement in "People" magazine on the death of their colleague: "We are all deeply shocked by the loss of Matthew," it said. " We were more than just fellow actors. We're a family." From 1994 to 2004, the five, along with Perry, starred in every episode of all ten seasons of the sitcom.

Perry had been found dead in a hot tub in his home, US media reported. Initially, nothing was known about the cause of death, but a crime was ruled out. In his autobiography published in 2022, the actor had written openly about his decades-long battle with alcohol, drug and pill addiction.
