On November 11, the China-ASEAN Human Resources Cooperation and Development Forum and the China-ASEAN Human Resources Service Expo opened in Nanning, Guangxi.

Yu Jiadong, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Chinese and Social Affairs, said in his speech at the opening ceremony that as an important part of bilateral cooperation, China and ASEAN countries have increasingly close exchanges in the field of human resources and social security, cross-border personnel flow has become more convenient, vocational training and human resources development have been carried out steadily, and the human resources service industry has promoted each other, showing strong momentum and broad prospects.

We are willing to work with relevant departments of ASEAN countries to promote the joint construction of a "circle of friends" for human resources cooperation, build a bilateral cooperation platform for human resources service industry, further innovate the form and content of cooperation, jointly promote the innovation and development of the human resources service industry, and promote the synergy and integration of China-ASEAN talent chain, industrial chain and innovation chain.

On the same day, a number of ministerial-level guests from ASEAN countries attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Lao Minister of Labor and Social Welfare Bekhan Katiya said that the Lao government attaches great importance to human resources development and is willing to share the new opportunities of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement with China, strengthen cooperation and exchanges in the field of human resources, and jointly promote the "three-chain integration" of talent chain, industrial chain and innovation chain between ASEAN countries and Chinese.

As the frontier and window of China's opening up and cooperation with ASEAN, Guangxi has continuously strengthened human resources exchanges and cooperation with ASEAN countries, established 9 national ASEAN talent education and training centers, and established cooperative relations with nearly 200 colleges and universities in ASEAN countries. At present, Guangxi is speeding up the construction of 10 China-ASEAN modern craftsman colleges in ASEAN countries.
