Laurent Mariotte SEASON 2023 - 202413h21, 04 November 2023

Laurent Mariotte surrounds himself with bon vivants for a show about everyday cooking: whether they are chefs, artists or intellectuals, they have in common this passion for eating well and share it for 1h30 with the listeners of Europe 1. Gourmet walks through the markets and among the producers, simple recipes and advice close to the concerns of the listeners... The unmissable event for gourmets!

Seasonal products and advice, Laurent Mariotte and his bon vivants are here for the sixth season of La table des Bons vivants! A show to help you eat well and understand what you eat.

This week, Laurent Mariotte is surrounded by columnists Sonia Ezgulian, who comes straight from Lyon, and Ophélie Neiman, a wine specialist you read in Le Monde.

Every week, Laurent Mariotte and his columnists talk about their taste of the week. Whether it's a flavour that marked their week, a restaurant that caught their eye, a dish they cooked or that was concocted for them. The opportunity to discover new flavours or new addresses, favourites but also rants. This week, Sonia Ezgulian treats us to chocolate. Ophélie Neiman introduces us to non-alcoholic spirits. And Laurent Mariotte makes us salivate with a beef chuck.

It is also an opportunity for you, dear listeners of Europe 1, to tell us about your taste for the week. If you wish to participate, you have two options: on the Europe 1 answering machine on 01 80 20 39 21 (non-surcharged number) or on the Facebook page of the programme "Laurent Mariotte, le groupe des bons vivants d'Europe 1". One listener will be selected each week.

In the second part of the show, this week, we head to the market of Eaubonne, in the Val-d'Oise. Focus on vegetables... You're going to hear that they can be glamorous. Chef Anthony Denon, at the Baudelaire in Paris, will tell us how he works with them.

This week's feature is dedicated to a film, which will be released on Wednesday 8 November: The Passion of Dodin Bouffant. The opportunity to take you to the table of a nineteenth-century gastronome, played by Benoît Magimel. Another great character to discover: Juliette Binoche in the role of Eugénie, the cook. Vol au vent, rack of veal and Norwegian omelette, the film delights us! Director Trần Anh Hùng is in the studio.

The month of November celebrates tripe products. On this occasion, columnist Sonia Ezgulian reveals her love for what is called the "fifth quarter". She gives us tips and recipes to cook them without making mistakes.

Every week, Laurent Mariotte welcomes a guest. And this week it's Muriel Robin. She will be back on Thursday, November 9 at 21:10 p.m. on TF1 in MASTER CRIMES, a new police series in 6 episodes. But also in the play "Lapin" at the Théâtre Edouard VII in Paris, on November 8th. For her, chef Guillaume Campion of Bombance in Paris cooks a poultry from the Landes, with parsnip purée and salsify roasted with meat jus. A recipe to be found on Europe1.fr.

At the end of the episode, columnist Ophélie Neiman welcomes the release of a book called Dictionnaire éméché du cinéma, by Benoît Franquebalme, published by La Tengo. And Laurent Mariotte puts Muriel Robin on the grill of the Bons vivants. She answers Laurent Mariotte's questions so that we get to know her better on the other side of the spectrum. What is the dish of your childhood? What's always in your fridge? What's your secret address? What is the word for hunger? Here are some of the questions asked by Laurent Mariotte. Muriel Robin confesses her love for truffles!
