The events of the fourth part of the "Midshipmen" unfold in 1787 - ten years after the Russian-Turkish war and the annexation of the Crimea to Russia. European powers weave intrigues, and only Nikita Olenev, Alexei Korsak and their grown-up children can destroy them.

MGM acquired the rights to the film adaptation of the literary source even before the book was written - at the time of the deal, the author had only the concept of future work in his hands. However, as a result, the film was produced by Black Bear Pictures.
"The Facets of Love" (Les enfants des autres
