An employee of the Saga Prefectural Government won the grand prize in the national miss contest, and it was decided to engage in charity activities nationwide in the future.

Ai Yoshida, an employee of the Saga Prefectural Government, represented Saga Prefecture in Miss Japan, one of the leading miss contests in Japan, on the 28th of last month and won the grand prize.

In response to this, Mr. Yoshida visited Governor Yamaguchi at the prefectural office on the 2nd and reported the results.

Mr. Yoshida explained that he won the Grand Prix as a result of the final selection of 40 regional representatives from all over Japan, and expressed his enthusiasm, saying, "I want to challenge myself to do what I like while doing challenging prefectural work."

In response, Governor Yamaguchi praised the achievement, saying, "I hope that you will disseminate the good points of Saga Prefecture to the whole country and give back to your work."

According to the prefecture, Mr. Yoshida joined the Saga Prefectural Government and is currently in charge of subsidy projects for pediatric medical care at the Saga Chubu Health and Welfare Office, and will work as a prefectural government official while working on charity activities nationwide.

After reporting to the governor, Mr. Yoshida said, "I am a public servant who has a rigid image from the public, but I was able to win the Grand Prix through my efforts, and I want to encourage people who want to take on challenges."
