The experienced "On the Trail" viewer will recognize many returning contestants this year. Among others, Christopher Garplind and Emma Peters are back, even names such as Niklas Källner and Lena Nordlund are seen again.

But there are also new names and one of them is the former comedian, author and newly minted poet Marcus Berggren, who competes together with art expert Cecilia Berggren.

– No, but the feeling is very bad, panic attacks, stomach aches. But it is an honor to be part of one of Sweden's finest TV programs, says Marcus Berggren to SVT Kulturnyheterna.

"Razor-sharp intellect"

Marcus Berggren sees his "razor-sharp intellect" and his "enormous geographical knowledge" as his strengths. Even quick reflexes end up on the list.

"I'm pulling as fast huh (in the emergency brake). The hand is faster than the brain.

At the same time, he sees the competition this year as crushing.

"If I had known it was a 'best of season', I might not have said yes," he says jokingly.

However, he hopes that the viewer shows mercy in the face of his possible knowledge gaps.

But why does he see his participation a bit like having chickenpox? Get the answer in the clip above.

More newcomers

Among those making their first turn in the trolley are also Sofia Dalén and Kalle Möller. They are mainly recognized from the Youtube series "Paradrätt" which is about celebrities getting to cook the dish they make best while being interviewed.

Sibling and sports journalist duo Johan and Jennifer Kücükaslan also step into the trolley.
