Fishing in Brandenburg: Naked by fraudulent chat (symbolic image)

A man has become the victim of a fraudulent erotic chat with nude pictures while fishing in the northwest of Brandenburg. The 35-year-old was fishing at a bathing spot in Karstädt-Garlin, north of Wittenberge, when he was contacted via social media and persuaded to a video chat, police said.
The man stripped naked. What he didn't know at the time was that the images were secretly recorded. Because it is therefore a scam.
A little later, the 35-year-old received a video with nude pictures of himself, combined with a demand for money. Otherwise, the video will be published and sent to acquaintances, it said.
The 35-year-old blocked contact on social media and filed a complaint. According to the police, he did not pay any money. According to the police, such extortion attempts are more common.
