In the afternoon of the same day, two staff members were walking downhill on the ridge of Dalingzi Mountain when they suddenly heard a noise, and then saw a round giant panda strolling leisurely about 5 meters ahead. The staff immediately stopped and saw the giant panda quickly climbing onto the fir tree next to it. The staff sat on the ground so as not to disturb it, trying to make way for the giant panda. After climbing the tree, the giant panda wrapped its paws around the trunk and stuck its head out to inspect it. After the two sides looked at each other closely for a few minutes, the giant panda climbed down the tree and calmly disappeared from the sight of the staff.

According to the on-site observation of the staff, this giant panda is an adult male individual, fat, plump and rich, neat hair, steady steps, sensitive movements, and no abnormalities in the body. Subsequently, the staff monitored the surroundings, forest vegetation and bamboo growth of the land where the giant pandas were found. The area is well grown, with lush foliage and dense bamboo.

"The Hongshi River area of Tangjiahe is the core distribution area of giant pandas, with rich vegetation and well-grown brown flower arrow bamboo and lack of bud arrow bamboo." The relevant person in charge of the Tangjiahe area of the Giant Panda National Park introduced that the field infrared camera in the area has also recorded the wild giant panda entity many times. Since the beginning of this year, a total of 386 valid videos and pictures have been collected in the Redstone River area. "With the increase in the number of wild giant panda check-ins, it further indicates that the quality of giant panda habitat in Tangjiahe has steadily improved, and the wild giant panda population has gradually expanded, which is a manifestation of the effectiveness of conservation work over the years."
