People who ate bento boxes from the ekiben manufacturer "Yoshidaya" in Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture, have complained of feeling unwell one after another, and it was found that at least 18 people who purchased this bento in Fukuoka Prefecture were suspected of having food poisoning.

Regarding the ekiben manufacturer "Yoshidaya" in Hachinohe City, it has been confirmed that people who ate bento boxes with an expiration date of the 16th and 17th of this month have complained of poor physical condition such as diarrhea and vomiting one after another.

According to Fukuoka Prefecture and others, at least 21 people who purchased boxed lunches in the prefecture were suspected of having food poisoning as of 11 a.m. on the 18st.

In response to this problem, Izumi, headquartered in Hiroshima City, which operates Youme Town, announced that it had sold "Hokkaido Special Luxury Rice Bowls" delivered from Yoshidaya at events at a total of 16 stores in five prefectures of Kyushu, including Fukuoka, on the 17th and 5th of this month.

According to the prefecture, 27 people suspected of having food poisoning bought lunch boxes at this event.

The prefectural government says, "If you are not feeling well after eating the relevant lunch, please contact the public health center."
