A cow in the village of "Manshaet Arimoun" in Beheira Governorate in northern Egypt sparked controversy on social media after the people began blessing her and dressed her in rosaries and called her "the blessed cow."

The story of the cow began after its owner Zahran Mahmoud – from the village of Manshaet Arimon in the Mahmoudiya center of the lake – announced that she was nine months pregnant while she was only 4 months old, and this contradicts the laws of science that confirm that cows become pregnant a year after their birth and pregnancy about 9 months.

After the news of the young cow's pregnancy was announced, its pictures and news occupied a large area of social networking sites in Egypt during the past days, after many of the people of the village, which is famous for raising cows, dealt with it with great attention and reverence.

Mahmoud said in a video clip that his cow is blessed and that it is a miracle because of her pregnancy and the appearance of signs of childbirth on her when she did not exceed 4 months, so that the cow became the talk of the people of the region, and then the clip spread like wildfire.

The September 21 episode of Shabakat dealt with the interaction of social media platforms with the story of the blessed cow, which ranged from denial to astonishment at the exaggeration in dealing with the matter.

Activist Mohammed was surprised by the talk about carrying a cow when she was 4 months old, saying, "O our brothers, it is forbidden for you to (how) she has four and a half months and is nine months pregnant? You're joking, by God."

Another account called Al-Warda mocked the naming of the cow as Mabrouka, saying, "Mabrouka means that you come down with melting butter, for example, and not eh?! I ask forgiveness from God Almighty."

As for Mohamed Abdel Wahab, he defended the owner of the cow by saying, "By God, you have grown up the subject, young people, and God is the man who does not mean a need for the maqam. The man is just a love that expresses his joy and the cow is not pregnant."

Apart from these and those, Walid expressed regret for the state of society in terms of ignorance of science and religion, saying, "Unfortunately, the subject is not funny, the topic is sad, I swear to God, we have reached a difficult stage of ignorance of religion and ignorance in general."

Unlike everyone, the Dean of Veterinary Medicine at Damanhour University, Dr. Nabil Mohammed, entered to clarify the matter, saying, "The cow is not blessed and suffers from a hernia and her pregnancy is unscientific."

The matter did not stop at the limit, a medical team from Damanhour University went to find out her condition and it was found that she is already not fully mature and that her bowels have come out of the abdomen and taken a large area under the skin, and the specialized team confirmed that the cow has not matured sexually yet, and therefore it is impossible to be pregnant.
