Due to the problem of dead trees on the streets in front of the used car sales company "Big Motor" stores in various places, the Fukuoka Prefectural Police Headquarters began searching five stores in the prefecture on the morning of the 21st on suspicion of damage to property.

Five Big Motor stores in Fukuoka Prefecture are being searched, and about 5 investigators carrying cardboard and other items entered the Koga store just after 9:10 a.m.

At these stores, it was confirmed that the trees on the streets in front of the stores were dead or missing, and damage reports were filed with local police stations due to the detection of herbicide components in the soil in the city, prefecture, and national surveys.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department and the Kanagawa Prefectural Police searched the head office on the 15th of this month due to suspicions that acts such as spraying herbicides were carried out systematically regarding this issue, and the police are also trying to clarify the involvement of the head office.
