Posted on August 23 on Netflix, a French series has conquered the hearts of subscribers of the platform. It now occupies third place on the podium of the most watched series in France. However, it had not found its audience last May, when it was broadcast on France 2.

It is a success that no one expected for this fall. The French series Bardot, which tells the story of the young years of the iconic Brigitte Bardot, is currently a hit on Netflix. The biopic was broadcast last May on France 2 but had not really found its audience...

Only 2 million viewers for this very ambitious fiction co-directed by Danièle and Christopher Thompson. France Télévisions had however seen things big with a colossal budget, 10 million euros for six episodes of 52 minutes, but also a very talented actress: Julia de Nunez, spitting portrait of Bardot.

Brigitte Bardot totally against this biopic on her life

It is finally on Netflix that the series finds a second wind. It is currently on the podium of the most watched content in France... behind Who is Erin Carter? and the Scandinavian series Ragnarök...
