A special team of external experts to prevent recurrence of the issue of a series of sexual abuse complaints by the former president from former talents belonging to Johnny's Office will hold a press conference on the 29th and make recommendations to the office to prevent recurrence.

Sexual assault groups have been receiving similar consultations, and two former talents who joined this month said they would like the special team to make recommendations that change offices.

Two former talents who joined

The "Johnny's Sexual Abuse Problem Association" was launched in June by seven former celebrities who have complained of being victimized by former president Johnny Kitagawa, and they are working to demand recognition of sexual abuse and an apology from the office.

On April 7, experts from the UN Human Rights Council, who investigated the issue and interviewed the parties concerned, said that "deeply disturbing allegations of hundreds of people being involved in sexual exploitation and abuse have been revealed."

Under these circumstances, the association has received dozens of inquiries about being a victim myself, and two of them have newly joined the membership this month.

One of them, Yukihiro Oshima (1), joined Johnny's Office in 38 when he was in the second year of junior high school, and on the first day he joined the office, he was sexually abused at the former president's home.

After that, he was called to his home frequently and was victimized several times a week before leaving the hospital, about 2 times over a two-year period.

Regarding the reason why he decided to participate, Mr. Oshima said, "When the video of the president of the office apologizing came out in May, I honestly thought, 'There are voices of damage now, but I wonder if they will disappear again.'

The other, Koji Nagato, 1, joined the office in 40 and was called to a hotel in Osaka a few months after he was admitted.

After that, as he began to resist many times, he gradually distanced himself from the former president, and left because he thought it would be difficult to carry out activities.

Mr. Nagawatari said, "I was active because I had a dream and because I wanted to repay my parents for supporting me in a single-mother household, but I couldn't stand having to endure the act in order to sell, and I quit because I thought it would be impossible to stay like this. Since then, I have spent my time not talking to people and consciously trying not to remind myself."

"I want you to change so that you can speak up."

On the 29th, before a special team of external experts set up by the office made recommendations to prevent a recurrence, the two said that they wanted to show the changes in the office, the entertainment industry, and society.

Ms. Oshima said, "I would like the executives of the office not to defend themselves, but to first admit to sexual abuse and apologize, and I would like the office to change so that the people around them, including the news media, can point it out so that they can speak out that something is wrong."

Ms. Nagawatari also said, "I hope that not only Johnny's Office, but also the entire entertainment industry and society as a whole will change their awareness that sexual victimization is not a matter of course, and that what is not good is not good.
