British singer Adele has interrupted a concert in Las Vegas to speak out for a fan she felt had been treated inappropriately by a security guard. This is reported, for example, by the US online magazine »Billboard« .

According to the report, the pop star was singing his hit "Water Under The Bridge" from the album "2015" released in 25 on Saturday evening. In a clip posted on X, formerly Twitter, the 35-year-old can be seen abruptly stopping, grabbing the microphone and asking directly into the crowd: "What about the young fan who has been harassed since I came on stage because he got up?"

"He's here to have fun, all of you!"

Afterwards, the award-winning singer can be seen asking a security man to leave the fan alone. "What are you doing? Why are you harassing him? Could you please leave him alone?" Then she adds, "They're not going to bother you anymore, darling, enjoy the show," and continues, "He's here to have fun, all of you!" After that, she apologizes to the rest of the fans in the hall – and continues with the song, reports »Billboard«.

The US celebrity portal »TMZ« also published a video of said fan, who filmed himself and the stage during the show. There you can see how the man sings along standing and full of fervor. In the course of the clip, he is then approached by a woman who sits behind him and apparently points out to him that she and other people sitting behind him feel disturbed.

He then sits down, whereupon Adele exclaims from the stage a little later: "You can get up now, darling" – which he does with ecstatic exclamations of "Oh my gooooott". A little later, an initially smiling security guard approaches him, stands close to him and talks to him insistently. Then Adele interrupts the song – and the security guard disappears. But someone else comes up to him and says, "You don't have to sit down."

The singer's shows in Las Vegas called »Weekends with Adele« will run until November.
