The third season of "Ragnarök" is finally available on Netflix. This Scandinavian series, which focuses on mythology, is a hit on the platform. Yet the criticism is disastrous. "It's mythology for dummies," says "Widescreen".

It is certainly the most popular Scandinavian series on Netflix: Ragnarök is a hit on the platform. The name of this series means "twilight of the Gods", or "end of the world", it all depends on the translations. It is a Danish-Norwegian production of mythological fantasy where the inhabitants of a small Norwegian town lost in nature fear the apocalypse. Nothing is wrong. The ice melts at the poles. Winters are warm. It's not that fantasy after all...

Disastrous reviews

The criticisms of Ragnarök are simply disastrous: "it's a huge mouthful," says Écran Large, for whom "it's Norse mythology for dummies", and even for the very dummies.

And yet, the series is a hit: according to the FlixPatrol ranking of the most watched programs of Netflix, ranking updated daily, Ragnarök was number 1 of the views in France the day after its release, in the middle of last week. And the series is number 2 today.
