Qilian Mountain National Park is a typical representative of the vertical ecosystem of plateau mountains, which nurtures forests, grasslands, wetlands, glacial frozen soil, deserts and other types of ecosystems from low to high, and is one of the richest, most unique and most concentrated areas of biodiversity in the same latitude and high altitude. The reporter learned that in recent years, the Qinghai ecological photography team has won 7 overall champion, 1 group champions, 7 highly praised awards in 8 international top nature photography competitions such as WPY, Russian "Golden Turtle Photography Award", Spanish MML International Mountain, Nature and Adventure Photo Competition, German Highlight Competition, Best Nature International Photography Competition (NBP), Asian Best Nature International Photography Competition, and National Wildlife Photography Competition (NWPC), a total of 16 awards.
At the same time, in the domestic photography competition, Bao Yongqing, a contracted photographer of Qilian Mountain National Park, won the "Golden Image Award", the highest award for photography in China, in 2020, and in the China Wildlife Image Annual Competition alone, 10 photographers from the contracted photographer team won a total of 19 awards including the overall champion within three years. More than 1200,<> photographic works have won major international and domestic awards, which have attracted widespread attention and profound influence in the ecological photography circles at home and abroad.
