The pop diva is back: After Madonna had to postpone her planned world tour at short notice in June due to an infection, the new concert dates have now been announced. The start of the worldwide »Celebration Tour« is planned for October 14 in London, as the organizer Live Nation announced on Madonna's website.

After four sold-out concerts in London, the tour will continue through Europe until the beginning of December, including Belgium, Sweden, Spain, France and Germany. As planned, Madonna will perform on November 15 and 16 in Cologne and on November 28 and 29 in Berlin.

Only after her tour through Europe will Madonna be on stage in North America. After the first U.S. concerts in New York in mid-December, more than 50 concerts are planned in the U.S., Canada and Mexico by the end of April.

65th birthday on Wednesday

Originally, the »Celebration Tour« was supposed to start on July 15 in Vancouver, Canada, followed by performances in the USA and the continuation in Europe in the fall. But due to a severe bacterial infection, the pop icon had to spend several days in intensive care in June and postpone her world tour at short notice.

As part of the concerts, the Grammy Award winner wants to present her greatest hits of the past 40 years, from her debut album »Madonna« (1983) to her album »Madame X« released in 2019. Her 65th birthday on Wednesday was originally due in the middle of the tour.
