In Gifu City, the "Gifu Nagara River Fireworks Festival" was held on the night of the 11th for the first time in four years, and many people are enjoying the fireworks that color the night sky.

In the Nagara River in Gifu City, two fireworks festivals have been held in July and August, but they have been canceled for three consecutive years until last year due to the influence of the new coronavirus.

However, there are many voices waiting for the resumption, and in December last year, the fireworks executive committee decided to unify the two events and hold them as the "Gifu Nagara River Fireworks Festival".

The fireworks display began around 7 p.m. on the 8th, and when five colors of fireworks were launched at the same time from the shore of the Nagara River in Gifu City, the venue was filled with loud applause.

Visitors cheered and filmed each time the fireworks were launched, enjoying the fireworks display for the first time in four years.

The approximately 2,3 paid bleachers set up for the first time at this tournament were sold out.

A family from Gifu City said, "It was the first time since my child was born, and I was looking forward to it, and I missed the fireworks festival that symbolizes the summer in Gifu, so I'm glad that it has resumed."
